Hope youβre doing better Patrick.
Hope youβre doing better Patrick.
When are you going to start the music podcast Patrick?
I feel that.
β I like your zag when everybody's zigging.β great episode dudes. @mostlyskate.bsky.social @frozenincarbonite.bsky.social @kigongo.bsky.social
Life happens. Plus once a skater always a skater!
From what I remember, Nike bought them and then shut them down. I didn't skate when they first launched. I got the shoes at Ross Dress for less than $25 or so. They must've been years old by then. They were probably old stock from some warehouse.
All of my shirts had holes from my studded belt too. π Damn I hated puffy shoes growing up but man I loved my Saviers. They lasted forever!
Paperback is a pretty decent one with the right repositories.
I've thought about trying some.
The only close calls Iβve had happened when drivers ran stop signs or got too close to me on a busy street. Ironically, my only bike injury was my own fault. I was trying to take a picture when I hit a pothole and flew over the handlebars, which resulted in a torn rotator cuff.
It honestly depends on the distance. If I'm riding over 25 miles, I'm likely listening to a podcast, especially when I'm on the bike trail. However, if I'm just riding to the skatepark or around the neighborhood, Iβm probably raw dogging it.
Damn fine episode.
The photos are at his epiclylaterd site. Gotta go back a few years though. He loved Gavin until people told him to stop associating with him.
Patrick was Gavinβs wedding photographer.
Element makes more sense when you consider his type of contest skating. I hoped he'd stay at Girl when I saw him riding girl boards too.
Another fumble from the frail camp. Maybe that element check was stellar.
Think it was 7th or 8th grade. My friend Ryan showed me a website called steak & cheese which would be the equivalent of Reddit and twitter now. Terrible, funny, and disgusting all at once. Then we would go on chatrooms and talk to strangers. A bit after that I got my first PC in Xmas of 99.
I didn't know it was back!
What a perfect day.
A match made in heaven if I'm being honest.
Miles goes so perfectly with skating man.
Judging by the road he was coming down on I'd say backside. Of course, I'm assuming he's cool like me and skates regular.
Those Pawnshop kids in Covina are no joke, man. Theyβre good. Donovan and his pops have really got Covina on lock.
Paul Stanley debut episode
Thanks dude I appreciate it. Past 2.5 years I had a cancer scare, broken foot, rotator cuff tear, bike injuries, multiple running injuries, busted my head open, loved one almost die, etc. Life is great but sometimes I canβt enjoy skating anymore. I hate to say it. I donβt know why.
He was doing this in 94!
Yeah the skated graphic didn't look as dope as a regular board.
Jeremy Klein's legacy should be his gnarly skateboarding and not his horny graphics. That man is so damn underrated.
I can't remember that particular graphic but I remember I think I had a habitat board with the same technology. Pretty sure it was a Danny Garcia board.
This morning's episode was really great. I was reminded of this board gimmick I enjoyed back in the day. The board was corrugated like cardboard.
