Setting up reels for Pick & Place Machines?
My 50th Birthday is coming up in a month and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do.
I'd love to do a LAN Party with friends maybe, as we've done in the past.

Goodbye Snap, you will be missed. And so long as we proudly wear your beautiful creations, never forgotten.
If you are a BC4C suiter and will be at Fur the 'More later this month, reach out to me, I'm helping to coordinate a small gathering in Snaps honor.
It's up here in Red Bluff at the fairgrounds.
Any Irish friends in NorCal?

I hate to ask but would anyone I know in the Bay Area be willing to foster a few cats for a month or so?
They are sweethearts but their humans are having a bit of a family emergency and need to rehome them for a short while. (Month-ish?)
We need to find them someplace to be by Wednesday.
Who is this
Corvette Summer, Slipstream, Guyver, and that weird movie Time Runner.
I remember that.
Someone almost did that this Monday when I went to pick up BlueEyes from Sacramento Airport. XD
Followers of mine who are CFIs and do intro or discovery flights - what percentage of them do you estimate turn into full-time students? Feels like we've been pumping intros through lately with a pretty low conversion rate and we're getting tired of giving glorified scenic flights.
I met Snap E. at FC 2000 or 2001 when they introduced their "Velkro Tiger" fursuit at the Masquerade. My condolences to their family and close friends.
Oh Fuck :(
I can't sleep, does that count?
Any of the Serious Sam OSTs, but *especially* Serious Sam 3: BFE when the composer, Damjan Mravunac brought in a lot of Egyptian and Middle Eastern influences into his music for the game.
Early Burt Rutan designs. ๐
I remember playing with CUSeeMe at the Exploratorium in San Francisco when they got themselves a Dual B-Channel ISDN line just for that PC. They had a webcam at the computer and one looking over the space.
31017674. I was an earlier one. XD
*waves to @imweasel.bsky.social as he passes through the Sacramento area on his way home to Red Bluff.*
Be sure to put "AI" somewhere in it and you'll have money rolling in.
Getting burgers with the GF in Atwater. Heading back up to Yosemite Valley soon.

Putting this out for my friends first:
Acquired a pair of KRK 'Rokit 5' Gen-2 Nearfield Monitors in Mint condition. I'm likely not going to keep them so putting out feelers for any interested parties. Asking $250, I can ship but it will be on the buyer.

Late Christmas gift from the GF. :)
Picture of a bruise on a forehead caused by a socket tool.
Safety glasses are good and all, but they won't keep a 15mm socket from bouncing off your damned forehead when it slips off a bolt.
Damn
