I keep reminding people that admins hate English departments because they are popular (read: inefficient), not because they aren’t. AI is in a long line of technologies that promise to solve that problem for them.

I'm taking an art bootcamp class this semester to review basics: color theory, composition, perspective, etc. In-class assignment was to go outside and draw a variety of thumbnails in different aspect ratios, then pick one and paint it using a limited palette at home. I really like a square format so I settled on that. We are using a limited palette of Winsor & Newton Gouache for our paintings (red, blue, yellow, green orange, violet). I am using them very diluted for a more watercolor effect. This was painted on 12"x12" Arches Cold Press.
