More corridor action on this little #3D #VR spaceship I'm designing in #Blender. I'm a big fan of the single undivided frosted plexiglass light strips down each side. Practical both for #lighting and for keeping the build lower in polys!

You know what's extremely satisfying to #design in #3D? Corridors. Especially in #VR where you can actually walk down them. A solid set of #texturemaps or #trimsheets is paramount to getting great levels of detail without adding too much geometry for #optimization.

Haha this one is so easy just rough chop things to fit into the Blender or food processor then go to town til it's smooth. I can't stop eating it everyday it even gets better with time it seems!
And I just mean the names fit the sounds in my head is all, not that it ACTUALLY applies to the principles here. I feel the need to preempt that one, what with xkcd fans being so technical and all :P
I'm never truly sure of anything these days. I see I must have misread the wiki. Oh well, it still totally applies to the sounds of ice cracking versus bubbles bubbling.

To be fair the #lighting certainly helps too and I'm an even bigger fan of that phase!
I love the #texturing phase of #gamedesign because with some time and patience I can transform my simple clay model into a fully fleshed out #spaceship hub without adding any extra geometry. It's like a different kind of coloring book. And it performs well in #VR!

Pro tip, let it sit together in a big bowl in the fridge for a day or two so the flavors really meld together. This can also be frozen and stored for later very easily. These ingredients basically filled my food processor to the brim so your cost / yield is pretty good compared to buying it in jars.
So I made a killer batch of homemade cantina salsa!
Want some? Blend together:
28oz can Diced Tomatoes
10oz can Tomatoes and Green Chilies
5 Tomatillos
Juice of 1 Lime
4 Jalapenos
2 Habaneros
1 Red Onion
5-6 cloves Garlic
1 cup Cilantro
2 tsp Cumin
Salt to taste
Splash of Red Wine Vinegar
