Spoke to my source familiar with internal workings at Mastercard. The holiday call campaign re payment processor censorship is working, there is a lot of pressure being felt from your calls. This is resulting in increased response times at a core moment for Mastercard due to the holiday season

Practically every other time I buy a steam game my card gets flagged for fraud, and I have bought a few steam games a year for over a decade. These are not anywhere close to being adult games either. MasterCard just hates them apparently.

I called and asked if artistic nudity is allowed, so you can use that if you can't think of anything. Ask why one is allowed but the other isn't. Again, if you're an adult, it shouldn't matter if you buy adult content
Sure! Mastercard, Visa, Stripe + Paypal are further restricting what kinds of perfectly legal adult content you can buy through their processor (they cracked down on itchio and steam over the summer, not to mention Patreon a few years ago). We're tired of them acting like dictators instead of tools.
My advice, as a former call center supervisor, is to fish for ways to escalate your call to a supervisor. Upper management HATES when the supe call cue is long. We used to be in perpetual callback hell back where I worked and they constantly devoted extra resources to combating it.
Please spread this. The process is also fairly applicable to Visa and Mastercard who are ALSO trying to push censorship, and brain-rotting conformity.
