Yes, but mostly only while actively creating it. Once the sketch is done, I'm done, and it just languishes on my hard drive.

Commissions? Maybe a single digit number of times over the years. Sentimental value of the subject is a huge part of what stirs my feelings, and work is work.

Hi, I've made a couple updates to my brush backup folder and I included some .txts to explain them a teeny bit.

earlier this year, inspired by the post about a person whose favorite brush from the internet was just some dude's face, I made the 4head emote into a brush tip for one of my brushes, as a joke, and completely forgot and it become one of my favorite sketching pencils.

Lumens, a mareep, is proudly and bashfully sitting outside his house, in the snow, next to a snowman with a head vaguely resembling that of an arcanine. The snowman has rocks for eyes and a nose, and leaves for ears. In the background, Arlean, an arcanine, can be seen staring at Lumens with a blank expression, with a cart of burlap sacks behind him.

thing I drew over the course of a week or two inbetween other things, as a test for a different (for me) coloring and shading technique. It wasn't any easier or faster than my usual way, sooo......

Like, if the entire western community agreed to play in TTek and not go "If you're over 2600, there's nowhere to go, move to Takoroka" and just lop off the top half of the upper skill curve, I'd be fine going back to playing in TTek, but I don't imagine that'll ever happen. I'd love to be wrong.

There wouldn't be a point to using an alt for ttek, all that gear grind for a low pop division where you get ranked in the top 3000 just for being over 2k x-power and it's a ghost town at prime time. I'd be okay with imba games if I were playing with friends, but it's solo queue, so...lol.....

My series matches are 1/2 JP players because my wep's average series power is 2k. The latency to east coast US is...tolerable. It makes fighting chargers/blasters a little annoying, but I just got used to it. My understanding is the sentiment doesn't go both ways, but my choice is limited.

Off-topic but iykyk, I changed my x-battle division to Takoroka this season, and it's been the best solo queue Splatoon of my life, but I can't help but feel like the villain for taking the easy path and lagging it up in JP matches instead of just finding a team and getting my fix by playing comp.
