At school in English lit we had to critique books, historical docs, etc. I couldn't just write "shallow and superficial", or "fails to accurately represent" whatever. Frau Albers demanded why, how; explain using 'constructive criticism'. I see little of that lesson in response to this article.
Dr Patricia S Paton raises some really interesting points about X getting banned in Brazil. No matter what we think of Musk, the ban gives us an insight into how the judiciary system is βworkingβ in Brazil ~ so was this a democratic act or a political one?

In the '60s & '70s that's the advice in most every book on writing. When a couple of days had passed and I wrote squat, the guilt of not living up to the "quota" actual suppressed the creativity. Today I write when the spirit awakens. It may be pages or just a paragraph but it's good.
