Book seven of the year 📚💙
What a wonderful and beautiful book this was, a tale of wasted life waiting for something that will never arrive.
This Is how much my brain has ceased noticing time since having kids. I'm so tired I have no idea what day it's most of the time and I forgot that the F1 season started today for the first time in years.
Today's listening is probably one of my favourite albums; Touche Amore "Is Survived By"
Thanks mate, it's been super tough going the last few weeks, been to the GP more times than in the last ten years. Hopefully things are starting to move from impossible to just very difficult instead.

Absolutely agree on all points
People who run the art world need to stop trying to legitimise AI Art.
(1) AI art is theft
(2) AI steals careers
(3) Democratising art by removing skill and experience cheapens good art
(4) AI is bad for the economy and environment
(5) AI art poisons art, resulting in worse human and machine art

I submitted some work to a new magazine and have heard nothing at all, not even an acknowledgement. Noticed they've put out their first issue and one of the genres it contains is "AI Art".....yeah, kind of glad my photography wasn't considered good enough if that's the kind of crap they value.
I have both your 2025 and 2026 threads saved and have been delving into some of the books listed based on your thoughts. Started reading this one a couple of days ago, cannot put it down (previous background knowledge of the era from reading Mario Varga Llosa's Feast of the Goat has helped)
