If your faith community feels the need to pull you back in line when you call out flagrant racism, then maybe we should start asking why.

Christianity purports itself to be a faith of acceptance and unconditional love and support and freedom and fearlessness. But if your church friends get jumpy when you call out racism, then is it really?

This has been happening for more than a decade now. He'll say something or post something disgusting and the backlash is swift. And still today, I see Christians in my feed who are hesitant to say anything corrective about it--because their Christian friends get uncomfortable with any criticism.

I had it a couple of years ago. I'd been vaccinated too, so it was a mild case. But my fever lasted 8 days and I was nauseous for the next 20 or so until the lesion healed. Couldn't go anywhere or do anything for a month. It was miserable!

Thanks bud! I went into the appointment thinking it was gonna be just '*pop pop pop* okay, next!' But she started talking about X-rays so I asked what she wanted to learn from them--just to get an idea if I wanted to go through that part of the expense.

And I'm glad I did!

I've been having some minor back pain, so I went to the chiropractor today for the first time in 10 years. She did a pelvic x-ray and showed me the image.

Standing barefoot on the floor, my right hip is fully two inches higher than my left. My jaw hit the floor!

I start physical therapy next week.

I'm an usher in a theatre. I went up to a person tonight and told them to put their phone away and stop video-ing. They were not even being subtle.

Not even a minute later, they had their phone out and were taking another video. I told them security would remove them if I caught them again....

Dosed some NyQuil (to make sure I sleep) and went to bed early last night. And I'm feeling much better today.
