1. The ambivalence of people like me on SEND reform must be confusing and might even appear pig-headed.

On the one hand pointing out how broken the current system is and on the other appearing resistant to radical reform that might improve things.

I think neutrality leads to complicity, which can do harm…

Hi, this looks really interesting but unfortunately I can’t make the event. I’m just in the process of writing up my ethnographic phenomenological research exploring the lived experiences of 2 children at school who are autistic and minimally speaking, we should swop notes!

What if we caused the SEND crisis ourselves? The number of children being classed as having SEND is overwhelming - but have we stopped to think that the system could be to blame, asks the leader of E-ACT academy trust
