What about adding a cash discount and recalculating VAT after the client paid, to match the actual incoming amount
VAT calculations are tricky, when trying to provide mechanisms to deal with many scenarios. Think of: including or excluding VAT, unified VAT per invoice or diversified VAT per line item. That’s the start.

A lot of AI in UX is essentially performance — companies adding AI not to solve real problems but to look innovative. Teams bend their roadmaps around “how do we make it feel AI-powered?” instead of asking “does this help our users do their job better?”

I have a project to create an index for a magazine. Someone did it in a Word-file. Two years ago I tried to create a #FileMaker database from it, using BBedit and FileMaker. It took me forever. Yesterday I redid the work using Claude.ai, and have a far better first result. Now finetuning.
