Me too. I'm just saddened it might not last much longer.
I adore what I'm getting from this. Iβm just afraid it's not going to last much longer.
This is true. I had considered that myself, they're quite varied (this is one of the more colourful ones).
image from the failing sensor Canon Powershot A80. It's just rows of multicoloured vertical lines now.
I'm thinking that the failing sensor Canon Powershot A80 is taking a turn for the worse.

Goddammit! Sorry to hear that.
Marvellous series of images. Well done on nailing the exposure. Incredible.
Telephone pole against a blue sky background. The image is pin sharp. Taken with an Industar 69 28mm f2.8 lens that came from a Chaika II half-frame camera from the 1960s.
Similar thing happened to me. Bought a beat up old Industar-69 lens from a Chaika II half-frame camera to adjust for micro four-thirds. Picked up a second back-up lens, in case I buggered up the first one, only to discover that it had already been adjusted. And very well, too.
Looking forward to using this emulsion. Congratulations. (Hoping to find some European suppliers soon.)
Good to know. Thank you.
Very nice results, thank you for sharing. I'm looking forwards to get my hands on some of this. I'm a big fan of Lomochrome Turquoise and hoping this might be even better.
Adapting An Industar 69 28mm f2.8 βPancakeβ Lens For Micro Four-thirds (And A Huge Stroke OfΒ Luck)
Back in the early part of the year (2025), I picked up a 'Seagull', the Chaika II 35mm half-frame camera. The Chaika II is an interchangeable lens camera, with a 28mm f2.8 lens on a M39 mount and Iβ¦
A multicoloured abstract image from the circuit bent G6 Thumb Camera. This is actually rain clouds, and this seems to be the sweet spot for this camera, subjects with lots of grey and white.
After a nice couple of days, the clouds and rain have rolled in again. This time it's Storm Regina, but it's not forecast to be much. Still, it's a good excuse some cloudscapes from the circuit bent G6 Thumb Camera.

Ah, yes. You have the right idea there. Unfortunately, there's no similar Club around my area. I know of a couple of other people like me, but they're in Lisbon and afar. Around here, the family just thinks I'm weird. π₯²
Yes, we have Cash Converters, too. (Always a bit overpriced for my liking.)
Darn. In the UK, Computer Exchange is a chain of shops that has been around since the 90s at least. Used to sell just used computers and software. Didn't realise they were in the EU myself until I came to Portugal. My go-to place for memory cards.
First time I got one I didn't know what to expect, but they've almost always been gems. The highlight was a mint condition Canon Powershot G5, and a little Samsung that makes amazing 'aerochromes'. Don't think I've ever paid more than 10β¬. If you have CEX in NZ, they're well worth looking at.
A Walk Around The Block: A Session With The Original Failing Sensor Canon PowershotΒ A80
This is just a short post, but I couldn't help but want to share these (to my mind) wonderful images. Also, it's a way of reminding myself about using the original failing sensor Canon Powershot A80. I took myβ¦
I've got a WordPress free blog that I've had for about 20 years. Also a Blogger blog that I use as a draft for the WordPress and hosts my domain name. Lots of people don't like the Gutenberg blocks way of making blogs, but I'm fine with it. Avoid the increasing AI options, though.
Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some Zen to the feed.
You're welcome. I'm a firm believer in the hashtag #TrichromeEverything, and it'll be great to see what you get. Must admit, I've never tried still life, or practising with a card, it's always been 'in the wild' (probably explains my many failures).
I've got the F505, it's the only one in the range without nightshot and the hack doesn't work. βΉοΈ The others, though (F707, F717, and F828) can be hacked.
Got mine from CEX. It was advertised as a 'generic' camera, so I had no idea what I was getting. Cost 6,50β¬ (including shipping). Bargain.
There's a few early Sonys you can do it with. I just need a proper magnet. (I have a lens adapter on the way. Not a Sony one, just a cheap knock-off. )

I have trouble turning off my FD81, but aside from that they were running fine. I must charge them up and see how they're working nowadays. I've just got a DSC-V1, which is amazing (and I can do the magnet hack with it for full-spectrum. Just need a magnet).
Holga Pinhole Camera

FOR SALE Holga Pinhole Camera, comes with 3d printed cable release adapter, cable release, red filter and step up ring. UK only Β£25 posted
That's nice. Keeps it snug, too.
I don't have a Pentax 17, but I second the Peak Design Sling option.
No, I never really found anything, too. From a search, I give green and blue +1 stop and red +2 stops. Seems to work most of the time. (With digicams I leave the camera on P and let that judge the exposure. Seems to work, too. But lazy.)
Interesting. @billthoo.bsky.social made some wonderful digital aerochromes with his Mavica (I think the same model) and though my results were not as good as yours, it worked a treat.
