And don't forget sharing food! It sounds so simple and unimportant, but it will become more vital as people lose their livelihoods. I'm grateful that we grow enough to share, and are planning on increasing our yield this year.

I got some purple pole bean seeds from Baker that I'll be trying this year. My biggest problem is learning that I don't have to plant the whole packet of seeds!

We love, love, love the scarlet runners. I tried cranberry beans last year and they did well, but I haven't cooked any yet. Louisiana pole beans, aka rattlesnake, have been our go-to for fresh beans, but I had way more than we could eat/freeze, so I dried the rest.
But unfortunately, that doesn't show up on my cellphone. In fact, I can't open Bluesky on my cellphone. If someone else comments, I can access it, but am limited to what I can see. I'm finding it frustratingly cumbersome, especially because I want to like it more than Facebook!

Oh that's right! We bought some from a pig farmer who moved out of state, and then I posted that I was looking for some, and got some for free! They've made a huge difference for our garden. We grow different kinds of pole beans on them.
What I find frustrating about Bluesky is that I can't find what I posted, so I don't know what we're talking about.

Although it is incredibly hard right now, I find that I'm better off knowing what's going on than I would be to learn it all when everything comes crashing down around me.
