I had an instant and overwhelming "come ON" reaction to this shit. Rolling my eyes and gesticulating like Luka Doncic contesting a foul call.

Echoing points made by others today, in a country where getting an abortion or gender affirming care or protesting a genocide can be felonies, I am going to need everyone to stop talking about "the rule of law" and "innocent people" and "criminal records."

This is such an informative and important video. @taylorlorenz.bsky.socialโ€™s excellent journalism takes us through the liberal response to MAGA fascism, showing how for many libs, itโ€™s more about clout and money than liberation for all people.

I see similarities in the Canadian context too.

Every rank-and-file Republican is like this now, on the verge of tears while saying "all I want to do is give my children a future by spreading AIDS and measles and unilaterally terminating every NIH grant and also making it illegal to be trans."

Our transit system is already stretched to the limit! We can't tolerate a 50% cut in bus service.

These images were sent to us, showing an overcrowded bus where a mom with a stroller was turned away in the rain.

Our communities deserve better.

If you live in Vancouver please remember to vote for Sean Orr in the April 5 by-election. We have lost two good councillors. Vancouver Council is off track and we need Sean Orr. COPE is back.

America hasnโ€™t felt this upside down since I was a child in an internment camp.

Call it anecdotal, but my Canadian friends who are cancelling their US travel are not doing it because of tariff worries at all; theyโ€™re doing it because the US government is currently actively threatening Canadaโ€™s sovereignty and economy and theyโ€™re all justifiably furious

Many forms of Long Covid: Long Covid is a multisystemic disease with sequelae that affect almost all organ systems. Various putative mechanisms that underlie these sequelae are not mutually exclusive and may explain the myriad health effects seen in Long Covid. Therapeutics that target these pathways, such as antivirals, anti-inflammatory agents, microbiome restoration, and anticoagulant drugs, may ameliorate symptoms.

A study that shows that the number of speeding vehicles increases from 11% to 50% in Stanley Park after the bike lane was removed.

When ABC and Ken Sim removed the Stanley Park bike lane, the number of speeding drivers increased by 5-fold. We warned that this made the park more dangerous. Now, a young man is dead. Our leaders' actions have consequences.

B.C. scrapping provincial carbon tax after Carney kills it federally | CBC News B.C. Premier David Eby says his government is drafting legislation to scrap the province's consumer carbon tax following a promise from Prime Minister Mark Carney to do the same.

Believe it or not, having a carbon tax was an election-winning issue, at least in B.C., 15 years ago. Times have changed www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
