It's foggy today because it's so warm. I stopped by the cemetery to take some pictures. It was visibility swirling in places which was pretty amazing to see. These pictures really don't do it any justice.

An open bin full of little foil packets. The packets have one clear side so you can see what's inside. There are five different snack types: waffle-shaped pretzels, dried apricots, cookies and cream balls, sour blue raspberry candies, and chocolate rocks.

Because it's a space themed party, I bought some little foil packets and packed them with "astronaut rations" which the kids will earn through party games.

Paint progress on the kiddo's birthday party space ship

Just a little shout out to all my fellow creatives that have kids and still find the time to make stuff.

Sometimes I have to remind myself when I see folks churn out stuff constantly, they aren’t making meals for others, dressing, changing wet sheets, driving to events, playing etc etc

It is still in need of a second coat of white, then fun detailing. I have a bunch of black edging and foil tape, and a colour scheme in mind.

The same ship as in the previous images, but before it was painted. You can see the yellow sonotubes, brown rain barrel, and plywood fins. This time though there's a kid sitting inside with a motorcycle helmet on, and the engines glow with yellow LEDs. You can also see the console lights are on on the dashboard.

I found a cool article online talking about stabilizers. I have some sunflower lecethin I might try next time to make it more shelf stable. This stuff apparently goes bad after a couple days and separates quickly.
I know stabilizers are a divisive topic but I'm here for the smooth textures.

Well I will say it's not bad in a cup of coffee. I think I'd do more oats next time. Mind turned out a bit thin.

I ran out of oat milk so I'm making my own. Apparently it's just oats and water so. We shall see.

Does anyone recall an article giving advice for writing horror stories (maybe ttrpgs?) which featured a trifecta of things the characters can accomplish by the end of the story? I think you could pick one or two of the options:

- Escape
- Understand the horror
- Save the innocent

Can't find it...
