I don’t think we’re stuck. Perhaps just particularly fond of the feelings we experienced in that time/place when we first watched. I think we (at least for me) can get caught up in replicating that feeling the original provided us that we don’t leave space for a different experience.

I expected this shift once we found out the next Xbox was going to essentially be a PC and we saw a Steam Box for your living room. Playstation wants to make sure there is still a reason for them to be the top console for power hungry games. With rising prices most consumers have to make that choice

I really love JRPGS
