Realization that I do not like: for the second time in my adult life, all of the industrial and EBM tracks about the lead up to and eventual first Gulf War are relevant again. It’s like the late 80’s and early 90’s never left. So we got that going for us.

I despise that man for so very many things, but taking away this tradition from us because we can’t stand listening to him ranks really high on the list.
Watching the SOTU was an annual tradition for @qryztinker.bsky.social and I. We’d order a pizza and discuss it together live. Trump killed that.
It’s likely we’ll watch a replay of the gold medal women’s hockey game instead since we haven’t had a chance to watch it (watched bronze last night).

We watched all of the Group B play and it was fantastic.
We haven’t watched the Bronze and Gold matches yet, but the women’s hockey has been stellar this year!
My PTO request has been approved so I can see a Star Wars movie on opening day and buy an action figure on the way home, as per my ancient religious tradition.
I’ve done this for all of them since Empire Strikes Back (except Rogue One because I had a terrible flu). Yes, even the Clone Wars movie.
