It’s the feast day of Saint Milburga(d. OTD in 727). Abbess of Wenlock Priory She could create springs of water, make barley grow and persuade geese not to eat the crops in Shropshire.
Raging torrents would also appear to stop men from molesting her. Here she is persuading some Shropshire geese.
