I've been keen to see how this lens performs for bird photography, after recently selling my Sigma 100-400mm. Seems ok, but not stelar for birds in flight. I wonder if the S1II would be better. What surprises most is i think my X-H2s is faster AF, with the XF100-400mm. Great review though!
