Those getting their teeth into Final Fantasy Tactics this month, don't miss out on Rad Codex's RPGs, especially Horizon's Gate.
All of his games have a very FFT-inspired combat engine/class system. Horizon's Gate pairs that with an open-world age of sail sandbox story and TONS of mods to boot.
Incredible! Weโre thrilled to share that Threads of Time has now surpassed 350,000 wishlists on Steam. Thank you all for the amazing support!
Started out with the original Gran Turismo on PSX. Led to my lifelong love of Japanese domestic market cars. ๐ฅฐ
If you need more encouragement building your #GameBoy emulator I have another video for you, this time it's about building the graphics system
Good luck!

Pokemon Violet runs so good on it, like a new game ๐ฎ Same with many other Switch 1 games even if they did not get a Switch 2 patch
Really looking forward to Arceus being patched
Left page top, the side profile of the Toshiba portable computer, showing power port and 3.5" floppy drive. Left page bottom, statistics ("17.0 pounds, 16 MHz 386SX with 20387SX-16 coprocessor socket...") and a view of the expansion options ("one full-length, one half-length... [and] three dedicated internal expansion slots"). Right page top, the portable opened up, showing full mechanical keyboard with keypad, an amber monochrome 640x480 plasma screen, and system status lights worked into the monitor case. The bottom right includes ad copy ("The new Toshiba T3200SX. Take it. See how far you can go.") and company slogal ("In Touch with Tomorrow: TOSHIBA.").
Buy a portable and get a desktop free.
the repositories are accessible both on HTTP and HTTPS for maximum compatibility with the old hardware. Not expecting HTTPS to work on the actual devices without significant amount of work.
I am hosting a mirror of old #maemo APT repositories and maemo tooling for obsolete #Nokia Internet Tablets #N770 / #N800 / #N810 / #N900. I have not had time to test them myself so would appreciate feedback on whether they work on the actual devices.

Ah, I missed that the big update for Cassette Beasts is out! Adds a new party member with a personal quest that continues after the main story's end.
Still the best indie creature-collector game, and with an amazing soundtrack. So many vocal battle themes...
Enter the world of โGeGeGe no Kitaroโ at this yokai-themed cafe in Chofu! ๐ป๐ต A tribute to Shigeru Mizukiโs iconic manga, itโs full of quirky treats and nostalgic charm. A must-visit for fans of Japanese spirits and classic manga!
Pixel art of the Final Fantasy 7 title screen as if it were on the Gameboy Color. The FF7 logo is visible up top with the buster sword in the middle of the image and the words, Press Start bellow. At the bottom is fake copyright information
Gameboy Color styled pixel art mockup of the Final Fantasy 7 world map from a top down view. Cloud is wantering the map with Midgar visible in the top left corner on a patch of scorched ground. To the right grassy feilds and the town of Kalm visible near the shore. At the bottom are some mountains and in the bottom right corner a mini map.
Gameboy Color styled pixel art mockup of the Final Fantasy 7 world map from a perspective view. I had this idea that you could switch between top down and a Mode7 esque view. I was going to animate this transition but ran out of steam. Cloud is wantering the map with Midgar visible in the top left corner on a patch of scorched ground. To the right grassy feilds and the town of Kalm visible near the shore. At the bottom are some mountains and in the bottom right corner a mini map. Up top is a clear sky with a few clouds.
Gameboy Color styled pixel art mockup of Final Fantasy 7 on GBC. The scene shows the chocobo race with cloud in the middle of the scene and 2 opponents behind and one in front. Cloud is currently in 2nd place. In the distance some aurora borealis can be seen as well as some houses, mountains and some pink monster structure on the horrizon.
Last year I started playing (and sadly not finishing) FF7, and I got thinking about how Square during their PS era would still release games on Nintendo handhelds, and then I had a wild idea. What if FF7 wasn't so succesfull so they had to make a GBC version? #pixelart #gameboy #finalfantasy7
Iris Indigo Coffee machine. Genuine product, distributed by SiliconGraphics Germany.
Good morning! โ
(This is not a blasphemy mod. It was a product sold by SiliconGraphics in Germany. There is even a spec sheet for the Espressigo. Ask google if you don't believe me)
How did Epyx Fastload, one of the best selling carts on the C64 work? Commodore History has the investigation - and a really clever illustration of how serial buses networked when all you had was 8 bit bytes. (Check out the original dev in the comments!)

The top of a rad expansion showing an rpi zero and some logic ics
Game changer.
From the same dev as SIDkick Pico.
Cheap, easy build. Very versatile.
REU + geoRAM + lots more. #C64

They wanted to make the world's best video game. They made the world's best selling computer.
This is probably the rarest device that I own. The #Nokia N950 Developer Kit. Many times I wonder what could've been if #meego & #maemo had won in the smartphone operating system wars.
Loved the qwerty keyboard on this and the other Nokias of the era!

My first was Pokemon Red when it was released and I chose Bulbasaur back in the day. My all-time favorite Pokemon is Snorlax. ๐
