I'm very interested to see what happens. American fascism created the superhero. Jewish men were shut out of fine art due to antisemitism and were watching their brethren overseas be persecuted. But comics was open to them. The superhero sprung from that painful situation.

The only reason I might watch the Super Bowl is to see TFG maybe get slimed, like Kids’ Choice Awards style. Somehow I doubt this is going to be part of the pageantry, though.

I’m extremely sick with Influenza A from my plague children, so I’m catching up on movies and TV that I never get to watch. I just saw Knives Out for the first time and it WAS GREAT. I’m only, what, 5 years behind? What other gems should I catch up on?

I’m extremely excited to force, uh, I mean assign, my comics class to do it! And it makes me do it too, as I feel guilty for not joining in.

After almost a full week of snow days, one kiddo came down hard with Influenza A. He slept all day yesterday. Now he’s bouncing back but we’re all feeling it. Aurgh!
