I find it's best to take time over it, because you always end up unearthing a useful source at the last minute. Half the battle is re-organising notes into specific topics, so you've got everything relevant to e.g. a particular person all in one place
Final batch of research notes for my upcoming horror novella, set in Paris in the 1920s. Haven't got a title yet. Should be out later this year.

Another great Lit Hub piece found in my email digest today. I've been saying this about the Goodreads Challenge for years: it's bad for how we read because it encourages speed and numbers over comprehension and enjoyment.
