While Niall is our starlet, Sayah is very much our femme fatale. Her shadowy dilute tortie colouring is pretty spectacular.

Sayah at the bowl. A big step for her. She later growled at me because I leaned out to look at one of her kids, and that was getting too close. She's a very protective mom. Going to be tough to figure out fostering if they can't all go together. She's going to be heartbroken.

NIALL SPOTTED THIS MORNING!!!

She's so small, though. Much smaller than her siblings because Sayah bullies her away from the food so often she doesn't get to eat enough.

She ate for almost 6 minutes today, though, while I kept Sayah and the kids busy (until Sayah chased her off).

He barely fits. This is my baby boy. 18 lbs of pure muscle. He has no idea he's a giant. I adore him so much. He's not quite 2 years old, but he'll be officially an 'adult' cat soon. I hope someday he'll let me give him a hug. But ferals take a LOT of time.

Sayah at the bowl this morning. Briefly. But it's a big step. Niall 2.0 comes up for a brief second while Sayah's eating. Also a big step.

Agent J was super brave this morning. The bowl was 6 inches from my shoe, as I sat there this morning just inside the door. Most of the kids came close for treats, but not SUPER close. But Agent J, the next-smallest of the litter, came up and nibbled for a while comfortably.

But apparently, I'm required to share these with her. Not sure how I feel about that... 😉

Four years ago today, I completed the initial Tesseract Earring design.

Love the piece (and its larger sibling), but oh lord are they a beast to polish.

Here's something I worked on today. People talk about how making daily wear silver jewellery is a waste of time because it doesn't last. This piece was made by my great uncle Walt just over 60 years ago as a wedding gift for my father. He wore it every single day until he died in January at age 98.

Sayah and her kids, with an appearance from Junior. The three of Sayah's kids that show up in this are Agent K, JJ, and Niall 2.0. Niall 2.0 and JJ both play around in the kitty playground briefly (old nursery pots we use as toys, 'cause we're cheap).

Well, soon there will be tater tots, so not so bad

Sure... all playtime until I bring out the camera, then it's... "Nooo! No paparazzi!"

Niall is such a pretty girl. It was a chilly morning, but a lot of kids showed up for treats and breakfast. I have to be a buffer between Niall and some of the others (especially Sayah and her kids) 'cause they bully Niall mercilessly. Just want to hug her and tell her it'll be okay.

One thing that did work a little bit was blorping tube treats on my cat’s nose so she would lick it off. Might work with the pumpkin/wet food if it has the right consistency. It’s a tedious process though 😩

The internet claims warmed baby food, though they say that for cats too and it never worked for me. There’s a few prescription appetite stimulants for dogs and cats, and they can work wonders when they kick in. Mirataz transdermal is the one I’m familiar with
