Today I saw the singers of #Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 in person. Man…I feel a lot.
I’ve been a fan of the games and especially the music for my entire adult life. Every single game I’ve ever made, I’ve made while listening to some persona ost. I’m so lucky I got to be at the first U.S. concert

Kirby AirRiders is pure joy. Playing city trail had me smiling for the entire 5 minutes.

I was so excited to see the new Kirby Air Riders gameplay presented in the classic Sakurai level of detail, but I’m a bit sad that Top Ride mode is gone. This was actually my favorite of the original modes. Despite that, the game looks fantastic! I’m so excited for it.

I wonder how Sega (and other 3rd party companies) would react to a video compilation of major gaming influencers/journalists all asking for the option for full games on a card. I imagine it could help a ton.

At times I get really discouraged to keep making games. I fight this by playing works that influenced me in my childhood, or I think about my family. Other times, I listen to game music that teleport me to a time when playing games felt 100% magical, like this:

Losing your job in a volatile industry is one thing, but having it happen when extreme racism makes being Latino something to fear is a whole other story. Kidnappings in broad daylight. Concentration camps. It’s all so mentally draining. Somehow though, I escape by making games. #gamedev

Just learned about this podcast. I’m excited to check out all the episodes!

The person demoing removed screen shake and turned down the camera sensitivity, but I still felt sick. It did help a little bit though. As a fellow DK64 freak, I really hope you don’t experience the same thing.

We had to adjust the right stick camera speed, and remove screen shake all together for it to get better. I still felt sick though. While it helped, it seemed like so much of that juicy feedback was lost.

A lot of people take sick days when a big game releases. In my case, it might not be a lie.

I know on NVC you were so thrilled for DK Bananza, as was I. I played it yesterday in LA, but unfortunately got bad motion sickness. The employee demoing and about 8 other attendees I spoke to, also felt the same. Are you prone to feeling that in some games?

I went to the LA Switch2 event, and got it within 5 minutes. The employee demoing said she had been getting motion sickness, too. I spoke to about a dozen attendees, and more than half said they did, too.
