Trump: βThe United Kingdom, our once Great Ally, maybe the Greatest of them all, is finally giving serious thought to sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East. Thatβs OK, Prime Minister Starmer, we donβt need them any longer β But we will remember. We donβt need people that join Wars after weβve already won! President DONALD J. TRUMP

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:
Tax cuts for the rich
...donβt trickle down
Boosting military spending
...doesnβt bring peace
Slashing regulations
...doesnβt create jobs
Folks, weβve seen this all before.

Tax exiles stuck in London desperately trying to get *back* to Dubai to avoid becoming tax resident in the UK? Just great stuff. giftarticle.ft.com/giftarticle/...
Itβs actually pretty interesting content.
Propaganda ainβt cheap.
"The latest financial results for privately-owned GB News prove you need deep pockets to launch a TV channel [/propaganda outfit] in the 2020s
"Losses to date for owners Sir Paul Marshall and Legatum Ventures have grown to more than Β£131m."

"This is not about being a sore loser" I continue to insist as I slowly shrink and transform into a corn cob.
Even further and faster than I expected. news.sky.com/story/greens...
Great video from @taxjusticeuk.bsky.social
Last week we shared some research showing Swedes missed their wealth tax.
Well, it looks like the Danes do too...
Green MP Ellie Chowns on the elections bill last night: "It is really quite extraordinary that the Thailand-based crypto investor Christopher Harborne has been allowed to donate Β£9 million to Reform UK. I notice that its Members are still not here" (2/3rds of the way into the debate)
βI will not permit, I will not commit our military personnel to unlawful action. That is not what they would expect and deserve. They are entitled to better than thatβ - Keir Starmer
This weekβs main story is about Twitter. Or βXβ if youβre a hall monitor. How it went from bad to worse under Elon Musk, how itβs impacting us all, and why thereβs exactly one account there that weβre still fine with.
"The Labour Party under Starmer will abandon its core idealism and principles and it won't even gain tactical advantage. It will be a party which gives no one a reason to vote for it, and nobody will, in fact, vote for it." . - David Graeber
David Graeber made a warning about Keir Starmer in 2020. They did not listen
Dear @lucympowell.bsky.social,
I have enjoyed our exchange of letters about which of our parties is best placed to stop Reform. Hannah Spencer MP and I trust that you agree that this question has now been resolved once and for all.
Thanks,
Zack Polanski
Hannah Spencer wins the Gorton and Denton byelection for the Greens! π₯³ I saw first hand just how many people and volunteers were on the ground for the Greens. There is genuine mass political support from the public for change to the left!
BREAKING: Keir Starmer tells #BBCBreakfast tech platforms will have to remove intimate images which have been shared without consent within 48 hours or face fines of up to 10% of their global sales or have their services blocked in the UK
Why do we need working-class politicians?
"The people who keep the country going are the ones who should get a say in how it's run."
The thoughts of Hannah Spencer, Green Party candidate in Gorton and Denton.
Yesterday, the Government confirmed that the delayed local elections are back on.
ββWhat this means is a bigger battleground where we need to tackle the politics of hate and division.
Big tax news out of Washington state π¨ State Senators passed legislation on this week that would create an income tax on those earning over $1 million a year!

Shouldnβt Mandelson be prosecuted if he lied in his vetting for an important government position?
How did Singapore fix their housing? And could we do the same in the UK?
@zackpolanski.bsky.social and @greenparty.org.uk surge in popularity is a huge contributor to Labourβs internal conflict. The Greens have effectively proven the public demand for left-wing politics and proven Starmer was mad to shift right. The Greens have successfully pulled politics left.π
One benefit of Reform in the UK is that many of my friends are realising that itβs not good enough to be passive about politics anymore. Reform may have radicalised a bunch of conservatives, but theyβve also mobilised many lefties to actually get out there. Most people recognise the genuine threat.
President Lee of South Korea just blasted the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry for spreading βfake newsβ about millionaires leaving the country.
Sound familiar? Thatβs because it was based on the same junk stats used to scare the UK public away from wealth taxes.

The daft thing is that with Proportional Representation there'd be no need for this self-destructive war within Labour. It could split into its component parts - left and right - and people could vote for what they wanted. It's only First-Past-the-Post that forces these irreconcilables together.
Absolutely
