- Resident Evil
- Silent Hill
- Fatal Frame/ Project Zero
- Crow Country

The ingredients to my game:
- Isometric camera to first person transition
- Fatal Frame-like combat
- Resident Evil resource management
- A story about a family inspired by the movie Hereditary

Writing a "simple" distortion shader for transparent objects in unity has made me want to rip my hair out.

Most horror games make you run from the scary monsters.

In my game, the closer you let the monsters get to you, the more the damage you do.

Finally improving my game's environments. As a solo dev, I really have to min max my time spent and fight the urge to polish constantly. Each decision's opportunity cost I feel viscerally. Hard to do well when my instincts are screaming at me like "ugh this thing I made is so ugly".
