#furry #FurryArt Pencil and Marker comic panel sketches of three canines. I started with the left, and liked how I treated the gutters and panel by breaking out of them with my character around the frame - heavily thought about that Yiff! Zine cover. In the middle, I’m looking to show panels can contrast each other in size and perspective within the frame, by using a closer-up face and elongating the panel next to the impactful one. I put an orb in the AWD’s hands to balance the shape of their head above. On the right, I wanted to break up the middle panel’s height, and I noticed that by having two panels on top of each other, I can “animate” an event to help move the story/time forward. Just the ramblings of an artist.

I remember in public schools we always had these old mf textbooks, re-used year after year. Some of my best learning was in the annals and margins, where students before me crossed-out and vandalized their least favorite historical figures, often with low-brow commentary to comic effect.
