It seems like it has a lot of neat lore tidbits and the characterisation of the PokΓ©mon seems fun. Apparently it's more interesting in Japanese, but I'm sure in English it's just as good.

Pokopia seems so cool, it's just a shame that the first PokΓ©mon spinoff in a hot minute I'm interested in and it needs a Switch 2. oughghghghhh lmao
Props to whoever did this at the liquor store today

I think the only other thing I can think to do is the obligatory Max Difficulty Run For Sickos. Pump all the difficulty sliders to max, play the intentionally weak class and take the "hard mode" ring on game start.
That said, if there was more to Kingsway - more events, more lore, more goals - I'd be playing this game for a LOT longer. lmao For now though, I think I'm just aiming for 100%, all achievements that kind of thing.
It is a roguelike, and one with a lot of charm at that, but I feel like I've more-or-less figured out a game winning strategy for basically every run. I also just generally know when certain events are going to happen and which are worth going for.
Completed runs as all classes and all endings in Kingsway. Absolutely the kind of game where my only real complaint is that there isn't more of it. π₯²
New fursona draw over idea
It's not like it's gonna make playing the game less fun either way. lmao
THAT BEING SAID, I am very stubborn so maybe I wouldn't have since you have to take a very specific item to a certain place and given that I already messed around with said item quite a bit, I feel like I might have avoided experimenting more with it for whatever reason. So WHOOOOO KNOWWWWSSSS.
I kinda spoiled the final ending of Kingsway for myself, and usually I wouldn't be bothered, because I actively looked up how to do something that I thought might be kinda compliacted. But it's not actually that complicated, to a point I could've figured it out given enough time, and now I ππ€‘
Petition for everybody who makes videos to make them insanely loud as fuck. I spiritually need it so that when an ad pops through it's significantly quieter than what I was watching, instead of getting my ear drums blown out or jumpscared while watching stuff while I try and sleep.
oughghghhghh kingsway gooooddddddddd :::)))
crawling through the desert coughing and wheezing for a lick of "converts health to mana"
Like look, I love throwing Big Fireball as much as the next guy, but I AM going to scream every time an RPG makes a mage literally only capable of that when every other caster gets the mega fuckballs or whatever spells that obliterate the utility side of the game. :'v
Anyway, beat the game as a mage and what a miserable fuck experience it was compared to the other classes I've played. The most absolutely sauceless caster available, just an absolute mana guzzler. Reminds me thoroughly of why I hate playing most spellcasters in 90% of RPGs I play. lmao

Casting Black Fireball in Kingsway.
tumblr post by user sapphling from August of 2023 reading: "sitting anti-kink posters down in front of a wrestling match and explaining kayfabe to them with the patience of a preschool teacher" "You see that one? He's called the "heel." He looks mean and says a lot of scary things, but it's not real and he's actually very nice. When he says "I'm going to break you in half" you don't have to be scared because it's pretend. These two talked about this beforehand, and now they're playing pretend together. Can you think of any other situations that might be like this? Then they have screenshotted tags left on their post by another user reading: "crying screaming and throwing up when you tell me the undertaker didn't REALLY die and come back to life all those times" sapphling follows that with "no that part was real"
Always fun when you have a spell that drains health for mana, but you can just heal more than it costs. :^)
Felt like I was playing an idle game towards the end, summoning bullshit, stacking poison.
Anyway, I just beat my first run of Kingsway. Went absolutely feral on my favourite kind of RPG build - become completely fucking unkillable with lifesteal and healing.
