Coogs were probably a little overranked at #29 and Arizona was certainly underranked at #73. Imho both are postseason level teams this spring.
Cougar tennis loses 4-3 at Arizona. Losing the doubles point put the Coogs in the hole, but Liza, Valeriia, and Sophie won in singles and ultimately a comeback effort from Chems fell short in a 3rd set.
Things to work on, but by far this program’s best effort on the road since joining the Big 12.
Softball scored runs in 2 games vs Tech. Calling that a win.
Also I’m buying stock on Chase being a 1st team All Big 12 guy by end of his junior year at the latest. He just screams Sampson type player
Obviously Chase McCarty is not average 20+ from here on, but Chase getting some confidence offensively and doing the other Sampson team type stuff he seems to be a natural at will really unlock stuff in the postseason for this UH team.

Cougar women's golf finished as a team in 3rd place out of 14 teams after the final round in Vegas today. Coogs finished ahead of higher ranked Big 12 opponents: OK State (#28) and Baylor (#19).
Maelyn Kim (5th) and Moa Svedenskiold (8th) finish in the individual top 10!
