My hubby introduced me to them a few months back. I was craving some new punk bands. These guys are hitting the spot.

The Paradox is quickly becoming one of my new fav pop punk bands. I’m so happy for them rn. www.billboard.com/music/chart-...
I always love games that have trays that can be pulled out and used to hold bits while a game is in session.
You’re the second person to bring up the expansion component. I hadn’t even thought about sleeved cards, but I can definitely get behind that idea.
Agreed!
Compact board game box with components neatly stored.
I would like to propose a new board game award. It’s an award for best game box design. Meaning: 1) box/insert makes effective use of space, 2) components secure and protected, 3) overall aesthetic of box. @boardgamegeek.com You interested? #boardgames
Row 1: Cahoots, Landmarks, Monster Crunch! Row 2: Donner Dinner Party, Disney Sidekicks.
Here’s a thrift store round up of my board game haul for the week. #boardgames
Sign on glass door that that has circle with crossed out gun and knife. Under picture, text says: No Guns, Knives or weapons allowed on premises. Hubby’s text says: So ignoring the icon, without an Oxford comma, I think I can bring knives.
Hubby texted this to me. Thoughts?
Rusted front side of chrome colored metal. Thin metal with curve.
Backside of thin metal strip. Completely rusted over.
Someone who (likely) drives an old truck had a bad day and gave me a serious scare. Heard a thudding noise and then scraping. Pulled this hunk of metal out from under the driver side of my car.
Missed the live OFPG Sunday show? No worries, the replay is up on YouTube! Catch the conversation, the laughs, and the board-game goodness whenever you’re ready: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tS2a...

Today, I cleared my paperwork to do list. I told hubby to take me thrifting. We only had time for one thrift store, but still managed to get a nice thrift store round up for $19. #boardgames
My district switched to a program that better prevents hacking and protects confidential paperwork from falling into the wrong hands. The program also tells me when families access IEP paperwork. It’s shockingly low number of parents, which is disheartening. #teaching
Brow binder with pictures of old school magic the gathering cards such as minotaur and angel.
We went thrifting and didn’t find too much. We did find this Magic the Gathering card binder from 1996. It seems to sell well online, but not sure hubby is willing to part with it. #MagictheGathering #boardgames
Two board game covers of Candy Land. 2014 edition is all white characters. 2021 edition has black, Asian, and white characters.
Spot the difference…#boardgames
Seems simple at first, but the complexity becomes quickly apparent.
That’s the best! I was pretty proud when my nephews came up with a house rule to avoid fighting. I had a good laugh when I told my second oldest nephew there is no punching the fox…not even a little punch.
I tried this game with my nephews and niece and it is so well designed.
Row 1: Throw Throw Avocado, Throw Throw Burrito. Row 2: Gigamons, Outfoxed. Row 3: Blob Lobbers, Nuts!, Blockbuster.
Yesterday, picked up husband from work and told him to bring me to more thrift stores. Got some fancy yarn, a pair of jeans, and even more board games. Spent around $23 for games. #boardgames
Yes, we plan on going. We usually get there Tuesday night. Are you looking to hit sales hall, play games, both?
This game is clever and far more entertaining than I thought it would be.
6 wooden towers set up on city skyline box. Yellow star tokens, purple and gray octagon token.
Trying out Tower of Doubt. Let’s see how this game plays.
Congrats! Enjoy the process. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
I know any small games created by Japanese designers tend to be hard to find outside of 🇯🇵. It was shocking to see it. Nearly missed it bc it was on the top shelf (away from sm kids’ hands) of the toy shelves.
I had a job in a group home where I taught a coworker how to play. When I came in to relieve her for night shift, she’d stay an extra hour to play a few games of Guillotine.
I have such good memories playing this game. It was super fun to find it in a thrift store, esp for $2.
Row 1: Pandemic, Smash Up, Poetry for Neanderthals. Row 2: Guillotine, Tower of Doubt, Scooby-Doo! Escape from the Haunted Mansion, Alpaca. Row 3: Card Line Globetrotter, Joking Hazard.
Been a min since I’ve done a thrift store round up. Here’s a collection of games hubby and I have thrifted over the last 2 weeks. Spent around $35. Tower of Doubt is auditioning for personal collection. #boardgames

Ian McKellen performs “The Strangers’ Case” speech from “Sir Thomas More” on Colbert.
That’s a good way to view it. Sometimes I have to remember to listen to what students are actually trying to say bc they aren’t always graceful in word choice, but they do mean well with their ideas.
Wow, that is bad. Some days students just get a mean bug.
