i believe their split would always have happened. but in this timeline i think dee would’ve sided with sentinel, since there’s no external factor this time to force him to learn the truth, and this time with sentinel’s own affirmations… he’s going to go down fighting orion for his false god

if sentinel kept his word and orion and dee were made his ambassadors. he’s magnanimous like that. and i think things would go fine for a while, until orion asks one too many questions about why it feels like they just get to participate in the system that beats them down now
