I'm going to counter what Athena said: the biggest problem with the Ender series printers in the past was the need to manually level the bed. Today's Enders have fixed beds and are much more reliable.

That's said, if you have the funds, a Bambu Lab printer is about as plug and play as you can get.

Try CachyOS desktop edition. Is based on Arch like SteamOS is, but it's not immutable. I'm running it in my Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 laptop and it runs extremely well.
