The "let men be feminine" line is such bullshit. Anyone who doesn't conform to the gender roles assigned to them at birth are punished for going outside the established binary. Y'all don't want "feminine men," but will lyingly say so since anything is preferable to the existence of transfemmes.

The reason I fight so hard for trans kids is because I was a trans kid myself. I knew who I was in the year 2000, 12 years old, behind my computer, using the name Erin. I wanted puberty blockers so badly. My body shifted and changed in horrifying ways that I suffered for 15 years over.
Sometimes I really struggle with being trans, but I try to remind myself that the only thing keeping me from being proud of my trans-ness is a society too scared to let me spread my wings.
