Creator of dotenv and dotenvx here ποΈ. I get that software evolves and you have to keep moving forward. But a thought: it'd be great if npmx also offered a way to point people to dotenvx as a more secure next step. I think that'd offer a better balance than a one-way global deprecation notice.

We have enterprise builds that disable these commands at request. It's been useful for large companies trying to limit falllout.

The credentials don't need to be no, but the login state (cookie representation) yes.
