Second placement done. Spent half of this week really unwell, ended up in hospital. Got vertigo - ENT appointment in the next couple of weeks. Back to home school on Monday. 2 weeks til half term - and a new assignment beckons!

Awww! Well it’s hard to go between the two but I am a bit worried about it over there

And now, I shop. Into M&S for something easy for tea, and double Traitors tonight. I should be working but I don’t think I have it in me. Feeling rough. I still have not had one day absent since September. Tomorrow, I may wave the white flag and call in sick to college.

Week 2/4 of second placement done. I would like to sleep for 100 years.

Survived my first 2 lessons in my new school! I have 3 to do tomorrow… sitting and doing all the planning now. Actually I just want to go to bed 🫠

I put this on the other place and most were nice (apart from some random who should have listened to Thumper’s mum) This was my just turned 15 yo’s art homework. Am so proud and also so pleased she gets to do her one GCSE option in something she loves.

I reported someone for using an ableist slur last week and was told it was FINE

‘Morning’ (it’s not but I have only just finished breakfast) Got to do some work and feeling v sick about it. I’m at a new school for another 3 weeks, very strange to be teaching kids I don’t know a new curriculum. I am really feeling the slog of this course and wondering why I started it

It’s been a long day. Drove to kid’s school, then to mine. Full day of teaching. Shopping. Drove home, straight out in car to do ballet run. Lost my lip balm and my lips are sore. Sitting in a car park in the rain doing my planning for tomorrow. Tuesday is the worst day I think
