I remember suffering and excelling throughout all points in my career. There's not one lesson I wish I wouldn't have learned though; the Army has taught me so much about growing up and shouldering responsibilities while learning that a team makes it happen

I remember being a scared young 20-year-old when that shark attack hit as we stepped off the bus. I remember being a newly promoted E5 at 22 years old, wondering how I was going to lead grown men in Iraq.

Obligatory picture in uniform 😂 in all honesty, next week I hit 21 years of service in the United States Army. Crazy to look back on how much I have grown not only as a Soldier and Leader but more importantly, as a man.
