The UK government has just announced details of how Ukrainians on the "Homes for Ukraine" scheme can extend their initial 3 year visas by a further 18 months (the "Ukraine Permission Extension" scheme).
Big unanswered question is what happens after those 18 months though.

We discussed positionality, impartiality, media regulation, free speech, emotional challenges, hierarchies of knowledge production in academia, Ukraine, Gaza and more.
It's demanding to teach a topic where the personal and the professional feel so inseparable. Also a privilege. An interesting day.
