Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul and Avatar the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra are very similar in that the original series of both are on the whole better, but the sequel spinoff series is still fantastic, and honestly in many ways surpass the original.

Korra book 3 > any individual ATLA book imo

gen 5 is a weird mishmash of half good half bad. In basically every way. The dex of mons, half trash half amazing. BW1 story is pretty intriguing until the end in which it shits the bed entirely and goes to just disappointing. Engaging rivals but they don't leave me tf alone

anime is better with an english dub. I'm not saying that by default an english performance is superior to a japanese performance. I don't think Star Wars is all that great. But I love episode 7. It's like episode 4 but if episode 4 was better in every conceivable way. The prequels had some cool action. Rogue One is a terrible movie and by the end of the film in the theater I was vibrating with rage. Fuck Rogue One entirely
