I have now completed #MegaManTheWilyWars on #SEGAGenesis via #NintendoSwitchOnline on #NintendoSwitch. It contains remakes of Mega Man 1-3, followed by "Wily Tower" containing 3 new Robot Masters & another Wily Castle. It was better than I expected, honestly, but not as charming.

I watched GODZILLA × KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE. I didn't like it as much as VS., but still fun to watch. The small Kong wasn't great, and it was basically just YEAH MONSTERS FIGHTING, but I appreciated more Bernie and Mothra being Rayquaza (IYKYK). Pink Godzilla & Fist Kong were cool.

I watched GODZILLA VS. KONG (2021). My favorite of the Monsterverse so far. I think some of the story is stupid, but it was easily the most fun to watch. I liked the fight scenes, and the silly stuff with Bernie and the kids. Mecha's design was dumb as shit though.

I listened to the entirety of GORILLAZ - THE MOUNTAIN. It was a good vibe. I liked the idea behind it, it was nice to listen to. It's kind of just one massive song. Not sure I see myself relistening too often, let alone specific tracks, but I recommend giving it a listen.

Ohoho. Yeah, definitely check it out. The Mountain part is very obviously Jungle Book inspired, but the Moon Cave section is fun to look at.

I watched GODZILLA II: KING OF THE MONSTERS (2019). I liked seeing Godzilla and the other monsters and their fight scenes, but I honestly didn't care much for the Monarch side of it since Maddie and her family were not particularly compelling characters to me.

I watched the Gorillaz short film THE MOUNTAIN, THE MOON CAVE AND THE SAD GOD. It's basically a music video remix of 3 songs with homages to The Jungle Book amongst other things. Traditionally animated. I liked it a lot. Looked great and I liked the vibe of the music.

I have watched the first season of MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS. I thought it was good! I was a little confused at the start when it was jumping between years but once it clicked I enjoyed it. Funny enough I liked it more than Godzilla (2014).

The one person I know for sure with autism absolutely takes things literally and I have to clarify when I am joking about something or that I am just saying something stupid that doesn't mean anything and isn't a reference.

So I'd say that lines up.

Went with my sister @awilddutko.bsky.social to see SCREAM 7. I actually liked it a lot more than expected. Went in with no expectations, but came away from it pleasantly surprised. It was a little more slashery and less campy than usual, but it was fun. Love Neve Campbell.

I started the Monsterverse and watched KONG: SKULL ISLAND for the first time (rewatched Godzilla too). It was okay, surprised at how many people were in it. I knew nothing about it going in besides old King Kong lore. I liked the stick bug, lol.

I watched THE LONG WALK finally. Another Stephen King based film, about 50 men making a televised, patriotic morale raising walk to the death. It was depressing, but also had a bit of Shawshank vibe to it and I actually really, really liked it. Pete & Ray forever.

I watched all of IT: WELCOME TO DERRY. I am glad I went back to watch the movies because it made a lot of references pop more than they would have otherwise. I liked it, especially the ties to other King stuff. The cast was pretty fun too. The pickle scene was fucked up.

I've now completed #MegaManII for #GameboyClassics on #NintendoSwitch for the first time! Mix of MM2-3 bosses, more stages this time. I liked it! Had the slide even! The final power and bosses were really silly. I think I liked it more than the first GB game, but less than MM2 on NES.

I have now beaten #MegaManIII via #MegaManLegacyCollection on #NintendoSwitch for the first time. It started out fun, but my god did it drag on. THERE'S SO MANY BOSSES. A lot of them are relentless too. Felt it was much harder than 1-2 in some areas, but still fun.

For the first time I finally watched IT: CHAPTER TWO. I liked it! It had some slow parts, but it got me emotionally at the end and some good laughs. Some of the CGI forms of It were a bit silly, but I enjoyed this. Glad I rewatched part 1 first too.

I have beaten #MegaManDrWilysRevenge on #GameboyClassics for #NintendoSwitch for the first time. A strange remix of content from Mega Man 1 & 2, with some unique content as well. I liked it! More than MM1, but less than MM2. Good game. I really missed out on this series.

I looked at my Backloggery and apparently when I played last I got stuck on beating the Copy Robot and gave up there.

I believe this is the first time I beat #MegaManII, via the #MegaManLegacyCollection on #NintendoSwitch. I liked it more than the original, and got through it even though I accidentally did the bosses in a scuffed order. Final bosses were kinda goofy though.

I have watched FALLOUT season 2 finally. I liked it. I love the Ghoul/Cooper, so more of him kind of wins me over regardless. Same with Hank. Brotherhood stuff goes over my head, and less into the Vault 33 shit, but I still enjoyed it overall. Want more.

I have finally watched season 3 of INVINCIBLE. Just in time for season 4! It was good. Had a lot of big names doing voices, there was loss, some backstory, setting stuff up for the future, Oliver sucks, neat reveals. I liked it. Excited for more.

I don't BELIEVE this counts as a "new" completion, as I know I got to the end both in the original and Powered Up remake in some capacity, but I beat the original #MegaMan on Legacy Collection last night while watching TV. Figured I'd post it. A bit janky, but fun. Happy to return to its roots.

I have 100% completed #MelonJourney #BittersweetMemories on the #NintendoSwitch. A short and sweet game with a Gameboy aesthetic and humor very in line with "Earthbound-like" games. A mystery about melons in a small town of animals. I liked this game a lot. Definitely recommend.

I have, for the first time, completed the original #FinalFantasy ( #PixelRemaster ) on #NintendoSwitch. It was good! Better than I expected. I liked seeing where a lot of the base elements of the series started. A nice time loop fantasy. I completed the Bestiary too.
