I’m grateful to the University of Lincoln, Anna, @garydrawnsley.bsky.social, and the Research & Enterprise team for supporting this application and kind colleagues who reviewed and encouraged my application. A special thanks also to my partner, Ben, for their unwavering support throughout.

The Fellowship means I’ll remain at the University of Lincoln working with @profatarrant.bsky.social, whose mentorship, support and friendship have been invaluable. I’m also excited to continue contributing to the development of the Centre for Innovation in Fatherhood and Family Research.

In a context of deepening child poverty, I’ll use creative, participatory methods, including intergenerational interviews and photovoice, to work collaboratively with families to explore how poverty and stigma shape relationships, wellbeing, and future aspirations.

I’m so pleased to share that I’ve been awarded a @leverhulme.ac.uk Early Career Fellowship, beginning in January 2026. 🌱My project, Reframing Young Parenthood, explores how poverty and stigma shape the lives of young parents and their children across generations.
