This isn't just about numbers. A shrinking workforce makes it harder to sustain programs like Social Security and Medicare. Immigration strengthens Colorado's communities and our economy. We all benefit when everyone has the chance to contribute. 🌎

If the labor force shrinks, so does GDP growth.
Without healthy, sustained immigration, the U.S. — and states like Colorado — can’t maintain the growth that funds schools, infrastructure, and vital public services.

Roughly 75–80% of immigrants are between ages 20 and 64 — the core of our workforce.

Meanwhile, the U.S.-born population in that same age range is forecast to shrink every year for the next decade.

The Congressional Budget Office projects U.S. labor force growth of just 0.5% per year through 2035.

By then, immigration will make up 100% of total population growth—and more than 100% after 2031.
