I played this so much back in the day (and also Deja Vu.) I couldn't get as much into the remaster with the updated graphics, it just didn't have the same charm.

I tried airbrush first, which was too much. There's a little of that left in the back-- it came out too saturated and it makes the polyfill too stiff looking, reducing the credibility of the cloud effect. It was an interesting experiment, though, and I'm glad I tried it both ways!
I could not get the sculpted clouds on the foot of the figure to sit flush against the base, so I instead went with rolling up tiny balls of polyfill stuffing (RIP Joanns,) gluing them to the base, and stippling them with paint I had thinned down a lot.

I finished up this knight--definitely looks deceptively simple but this was the first full NMM I've ever tried, so it took forever and the sword particularly took a lot of futzing for me to be happy with it.
