RatOS RC4. What a major difference it has made to my V-Core4. No longer baby stepping the z-offset. Prints ABS like it always should have. I can start prints remotely and be confident of no initial errors.

One day I will have mine operational. One of the best printer kit builds I have undertaken. Just let down a little with a bunch of faulty parts.

Very short lived #positron3d printing experience. Started to calibrate and found the hotend leaking. Not having much luck with this one.

*Finally!* My Black Friday purchase is up and running. Months of waiting for a part to arrive and this morning it came. So my #Positron3d printer is now up and running. Yipee.

It’s been a busy week. Applied for my tax number so I can work for myself. Ordered more PETG from #nobufil. I have a project in mind. My replacement toolboard is (finally) on its way for the #positron. Best of all I have ordered a #CitroenAMI. Very exciting.

Just completed the build of my #positron3d printer. I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable builds I have experienced. Can’t wait for the tool board to arrive and I can squirt some gunk through it.

The #bigrat ate up the cheap and nasty ABS and spat out a pretty decent print. This happens to be the longest print to date, 10hrs. After weeks and weeks of #frustration I’m slowly beginning to believe in it. #ratrig #vcore4 #3dprinter #3dprinting

After some alterations the #bigrat is doing its thing. Spent yesterday calibrating the twist in the x-gantry. Feeding it some “cheap & nasty” generic ABS. Seems to be working.

Now thats all done I’ll again about to continue the fight with then #BigRat. The ever moving z-offset is today’s main objective. But first the frame needs a very very small adjustment to lift the back right corner. The issue is the quick connectors. I hate them.

Cardiologist visit all done and talk of second ablation on the cards.

Well that didn’t go as planned. Supposed to be a relaxing trip. Blue lighted to the emergency department with what didn’t turn out to be a heart attack.
