Preparing to embark on my 25th #WorldJuniors as the play by play announcer. Here are some reminders of our approach to this tournament:
First off, the pronunciation of the players names. Each team has given us an audio recording, we will use them as a guide, recognizing linguistic differences.

Legendary Penguins broadcaster Mike Lange has passed away at the age of 76.
He spent 46 years calling Penguins games before retiring in 2021.
Mike Lange was one of a kind, with a style that could never be replicated or duplicated. He was also a joy to be around, someone who lit up every room he ever entered. Condolences to his family and his many, many friends.

I understand there is frustration, but taking it out on teenagers—especially on social media—is brutal. Criticize the coaches and the management all you want, but adults (?) piling on teenagers is gross.
