I spent the past ten days working with my editor. Seems like I have issues with commas. In a 40,000 word manuscript I had 320 comma issues. I may need therapy, or I may befriend a semicolon instead.

I am the world's worst speller. Every time I send off a book, I say a prayer for my editor and beta readers. Oddly enough, I love words. I try to learn a new one every day :)

It's definitely worth it. I hate it when I'm reading a book and there is a glaring grammatical error, it takes you out of the story. I remember sending off my first book to an editor. Her notes were longer than my book. I was angry at first, but thankful later :) :)

Definitely harder and more involved. I need to learn how to make editing fun, it has to be a mindset I've yet to master.

It is complicated, for sure. But, I like what you said, that it can be interesting and fun. I'm going to make that my goal.
