Good you've been staying busy though! Critter Drifters, the kart racer game I did a few songs for just released so that's been exciting. And I also have a new project I've started that if all goes as planned, I'll have a video out about it before the end of the year. Hope all is well with you Kate!
Hey check out this awesome kart racer I did a few music tracks for!!! It's super fun!!! 😁
Kids: We want Diddy Kong Racing!
Mom: We have Diddy Kong Racing at home (in 2 months):

Oooo how cryptic. I love it! 😁
Critter Drifters is a single player retro kart-racing adventure game I've been working on this year, and is much in the vein of #DiddyKongRacing (if you couldn't tell)
Release is November 3rd, and a free demo is out now!

Sick dude! I love it 😄
Made another trailer for Critter Drifters, releasing November 3rd!
I've been making a ton of progress lately but things are getting to a point where it's feeling more complete.

Oh haha 😅 well I guess I never thought about it possibly being a placeholder palette. Shows I'm not a game dev 😜
I love this monochrome color palette! Can't wait to see more Kate! 😁
I'm about halfway finished with Critter Drifters, I'd say. My goal is to release it by end of year!
It's shaping up to be quite fun as well, but I'm just a bit biased on that.

Awesome!!! Can't wait to see more. Yah the warm colored ones looked really nice. 😁
Nice work! The animations are nice and I'm loving that shark tank 😁
Thanks Kate! 😊
I'm partial to more cool colors myself, but I'm really digging that orange house! 😁
Got something exciting in the works—can’t wait to share it soon!
In the meantime, I dusted off an old unfinished track and made it weird. 😅
I’m calling this one “Star Paper,” inspired by the dreamy Shooting Star Summit from Paper Mario.

Heck yeah man! Full track looks awesome! 👻
Of course! 😁
I couldn't agree and love your use of flow state when talking about the mechanics. It's always cool to see a developer get down to the basics about what makes a game fun. If you are fighting the controls or mechanics of the game constantly, it can be super off putting. Definitely feeling the cozy!!
You're very welcome 👍😁
Yes dude! Love that 😁
And yes I think they should matter. I love details like that in a game. Bouncing off an enemy straight into a dive like that conserves momentum and looks very fluid. It combines movement and combat in a way that looks fun to pull off. BTW the game looks incredible. Love the way the swimming looks! 😁
I'm interested in what you mean by rewarding the player in this case. Thinking about player motivation for doing something is important. Sometimes if satisfying enough, I think doing the action itself could be rewarding enough, but I think it definitely depends on the game.
Oh that's sick. Nice work! Love the clothing
Blast from the past! One of my favorites from my first ever album.
It was the first time I felt like, “Yeah... this sounds like me.”
Spooky, moody, but still fun — like a haunted level from a 90s game.
🎧 Hope you enjoy the vibe!

Haha hey I'm sure after running around for a few weeks, it is much needed! 😅
Haha yah right? You always need a vacation after your vacation to fully recharge 😅
Thank you so much!!!!! 😄
Welcome back! Sounds like the trip was good. Glad to hear 😁
Nice! This looks great. Loving how round that torso is looking.
