It doesn’t help that I am reading some great stuff right and cannot help but compare my first draft to a polished published work.

Now that the first draft of my fantasy novel is done it’s time to go back and do some self edits. Which means it’s also time to beat myself up about my writing.

Back in August I decided I wanted to try my hand at writing a novel. I spent months planning the story, developing characters and thinking about the world. I finished the first draft. Now, I am excited to go back and refine this story that’s been living in my head for almost the last six months.

I have about six chapters left to write before I am done with my first draft of my first novel. My goal is to have it done before I go back to work on Jan 6.

I signed up for kindle unlimited during Black Friday and about 80% of my wishlist is on it. It’s been great so far.

The older I get the more I hate Christmas. It no longer lives up to excitement and magic that it used to no matter how much I wish it did.

I have been in bed sick for the past four days. Glad my dogs where there for cuddles and extra insulation.

I am about 2/3 done with my first draft of my novel and the imposter syndrome is setting in. Is it dumb? Is anyone even going to want to read it? Am I wasting my time?

Added a second shelf to the LEGO closet. I need to rearrange my main display to make room for some new sets.

My poor Charlie had to get a small cyst removed. Sweet boy is still groggy from the anesthesia.

I have plans for some IKEA shelves as well but the nearest one is over four hours away. That will help a bunch in getting organized 😉

Ooohh that could be a fun MOC! There are some decent friends sets that make great MOCs.

I have been eyeing the cabin for a while now. I bought the little camper that was part of the Bricklink series 2 releases that should pair well with this! I’m gonna have to do some rearranging to make room 😆

I have this same problem with LEGO boxes. I flatten them but I still need a good place to put them so they don’t avalanche out of my closet.
