That is so sharp!
That is so sharp!
I found that I donβt think βugh pizza again tonightβ π No, it feels great knowing that somebody else is making dinner even though itβs the same thing! That helped me relax about making a frittata every week. (Nearly every week.)
For sure!
One funny thing that helped me: Having someone else do one night. Our 22-year-old who still lives at home chips in by making dinner once a week. She always makes a frozen pizza and then she does a really nice homemade Caesar salad. And on Tuesday nights when Iβm driving home from work
Weekly for me, so about 4/month. (It took me a while to accept that much, though! I thought it was not caring enough or something.)
Thanks, thatβs going on the shopping list. π
A guy and a dog sit on a back step, looking over a backyard thatβs lit nicely right when dusk is at its highest.
Warm enough in the 651 that the dog and I could sit outside to wait for mom and child to return from their workdays.
I just said βwait what?!?β so loud it startled the dog
Letterboxd Tuesday β I like it!
π
I def feel like itβs only a matter of time before it works in some recent Google search of mine.
Thought for sure we were gonna get one of your posts from the library where itβs just you and nobody else π
Posters for the movies: Honey Donβt Caught Stealing Late Spring Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy
Oh yeah, #LastFourWatched and #LetterboxdFriday!
A highlight: I was home sick earlier in the week, which allowed me to watch Late Spring while having a quiet house all to myself. It was one of those experiences where you stop existing in time while watching.
I saw ALL THAT HEAVEN ALLOWS earlier this month and it was a 4 1/2 star for me as well. I guess Iβm a melodrama guy! π
Looking down a beautifully, perfectly cleared long stretch of Saint Paul sidewalk, with snow on all sides and a garage lit with the warmth of an alley light and from a job well done
Look on my Works, ye Mighty!
I just drove St Louis Park to Saint Paul. I think youβve got the right idea. Waaaaay slicker than I expected.
I second this. The Black Cab tour was incredibly sobering. And the Titanic Museum really is impressive. (And I gotta say the food in Belfast was incredible as well.)
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.
That colon. Not visible in the main poster image. Kind of important. I get it now.
Screenshot of an Emma Stone movie with the unexpected title βPoor Things With Digital Extrasβ
I am very confused about this
Ha! Itβs also when your younger colleagues come up on their first prep. They are now super interested in hearing what your experience was and what advice youβve got.
Oh man. For me itβs kind of β¦ part of the drive when giving out of town guests The Tour? I drive past it first, then down into downtown. (Then back up to the cathedral and Summit Ave.)
So I yeah, maybe itβs the entry to downtown.
Thatβs right Iβm living Superb Owl Sunday π
And by βOwlβ I mean βEd Ruschaβs PARKING LOTS photos at the Walker,β naturally
Posters for: ALL THAT HEAVEN ALLOWS, AN ENGLISHMAN ABROAD, BOARDING GATE, SEVEN DIALS
Hello from the place where itβs all happeningπ
What have we learned this week? Movie-wise I mean?
I learned there is an Assayas movie that doesnβt keep my attention.
And that melodrama continues to be It. I was rapt like *5 seconds* into ALL THAT HEAVEN ALLOWS.
#LastFourWatched
#LetterboxdFriday
Yes! π
For us this turns (logically) to the next step, which is saying to your spouse, βSay; probably nothing; but: If Iβm having a heart attack, I just want to say itβs been nice being married to you.β π
That song is *bulletproof*. You donβt stand a chance against it!
That is lovely
Glad youβre here reminding folks β€οΈ
I forgot for a second that weβre just over the line in 64B β You gave me a heart attack! π
I donβt think it would make a difference. However! I think Cantonese just sounds cooler/more expressive.
(Me = Non-speaker; 4 years living in Hong Kong; plus a Mandarin-fluent wife. Take that for what itβs worth. π
)
This weekβs #LastFourWatched / #LetterboxdFriday is all over the map!
(When you live in the Twin Cities these days though, you donβt ask questions about how your downtime / recharging time is spent. Weβre all doing what we need to do, day by day.)
