Amazing!
My Instagram feed is almost all Star Trek, cats, queer stuff and rugby. So much rugby. Iβve put in a lot of time and effort crafting this algorithm.
Don Henley just on βOne-Hit Wonders at the BBCβ miming to βThe Boys of Summerβ. One day many years ago, we came home from school to find my mum, on a rare day off, listening to the 12β of this song on repeat but at 33rpm instead of 45. Best song sheβd ever heard, she said.

As LGBTQ+ History Month comes to a close, we wanted to share a snippet from the fantastic "How to be a good trans* ally" Webinar, hosted by Binni Brynolf. Full webinar is available now here: https://vimeo.com/1161082692?share=copy&fl=sv&fe=ci
Hegseth talking absolute nonsense. βWe are warriorsβ. Delusional and dangerous.
Going for a nap at 7pm wasnβt my best idea, except that Iβm going to have breakfast now instead of dinner.

Always find a silver lining!
Me too. Iβm such a fool.
It was better ten minutes agoβ¦
On the train back. So far weβve stopped at the first station on the way so π€πΌ
They just announced a station weβre not stopping at as βthis is Bache. Take care when stepping from the trainβ
Nobody else seems perturbed so maybe they were all listening or theyβre all just cool. I like a train journey so I donβt really mind either. Got to go past the house I grew up in from 2-10 years.
On a local train to visit my Mum and somehow missed the announcement that the train from Birkenhead was now an express to Chester without stopping in between (this does not normally happen). Looks like Iβll be visiting Chester briefly before getting a train backβ¦
I would like to read/see some interviews with former #totp dancers.
βWhat was your job when you were young, grandma?β
βI performed hastily choreographed and barely rehearsed dance routines to popular hits of the day on Top of the Popsβ #totp
New favourite song. Absolutely the best tune Iβve heard in ages. Feast your eyes & ears!

A still from the Star Trek: Voyager episode βThresholdβ which premiered thirty years ago on 29 January 1996. The image shows Lieutenant Tom Paris mid-metamorphosis in Sickbay wearing blue patient pyjamas
A couple of days late, Iβm celebrating #ThresholdDay. This year is the 30th anniversary, I donβt understand why such a monumental day isnβt a holiday around the globe.
As I saw every time, I want some of those Voyager sickbay pyjamas.
Maybe you should try ep 4!
#StarFleetAcademy is really very good. Four episodes in and Iβm feeling about it like
I did for #StrangeNewWorlds. Itβs hopeful, tense, funny, moving, inspiring. I love it #SFA #SNW #StarTrek
Also exciting or something anyway, someone has left a small bag of gravel in one the cubbies outside my front door. What does this mean? What am I supposed to do with it? Iβm not known for accepting gifts of gravel. Or am I?
Everyone will have to go and see it to find out if I make it into the background
This is exciting, a new film called βA Town in Nova Scotiaβ is being made in my town right now, and theyβre filming in a block of flats (not mine) in my road this week! I keep saying I need to get out more, will the chance to spot Bill Nighy do the trick?

Itβs easier to move around when standing to work which is good for me. My posture isnβt perfect at all but this does help.
Anyway I feel like a DIY expert now, building my own furniture, wielding an electric screwdriver (that and my staple gun are my favourite tools).
I was lucky enough to have a fancy standing desk in previous jobs (for tall person-related back issues). Sitting at a desk for too long causes problems, I prefer to stand and Iβm used to it. I have an anti-fatigue mat and take regular breaks.
I just built a standing desk i.e. I got a tabletop from the Swedish shop plus some extra long table legs from eBay then Iβve screwed them together. Itβs my second one, the desk area is bigger now. This is a very cheap and easy option but only if youβre used to standing all the time you work.
I love libraries!
