A few more hours to go

I wanted to draw something where I had to just draw what I see and not what I think I see. I think it’s good practice for doing portraits etc.

I would love to draw her portrait one day for you. She is beautiful. 😍

After 70+ hours (120+ if you count previous attempts) “Sinfonia di Colore” (Symphony of Colour) is complete. I am very happy with this and it is 100% colour pencil on pastelmat. 15”x21”. This is from my own reference picture.

Sooo close, maybe tomorrow.

If this piece looks familiar, it should. My first couple attempts didn’t meet my standards so here we are again but bigger to be able to get details in. This is 15”x21”. It’s been such a challenge. Never give up. This reference is my own picture.
